Responsible Care Management System® Internal Auditor Training Workshop

Note: As of the May 2013 version of the RCMS standard, all organizations are required to use Internal Audits to periodically evaluate the effectiveness of their Management System.

Workshop Objectives:

Understanding of the requirements of RCMS.

Working knowledge and use of the vocabulary used for auditing.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of the practices, roles and responsibilities of an auditor.

Develop the communication skills, team participation, leadership skills and attitudes necessary to facilitate audits.

Key management staff with responsibility for implementing an environmental management system.

Current staff responsible for the quality management system.

Individuals responsible for documenting management system processes.

Current quality system internal auditors.

Future environmental, health, safety and security management system auditors.
