Jim Moore is an accredited IS-BAO auditor in both fixed-wing and helicopters, and is ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor trained. He has over 30 years experience as a military, charter, and corporate pilot in both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, with extensive domestic and international operations.
Jim served in the United States Army and the Air National Guard as a helicopter pilot , and safety officer for his unit in Vietnam. He graduated from Wright State University with BS in Business, and from Sinclair Community College with an Associate Degree in Aviation Management.
As an ATP rated pilot in fixed-wing and rotorcraft-helicopter, his corporate flight experience includes JetStar; Cessna CE-500, CE-650, CE-750; Sabre Liner NA-265 (60, 65); Falcon DA50, DA2000, DA 900EX, DA900EASY; Gulfstream G- IVSP, G450, G550; Bell 206B, BH-22, Bell 47, UH-1; Hughes TH-55; and, Sikorsky S-76A-B.
He has been involved in safety programs for flight departments throughout his career and has attended numerous safety seminars and conferences, as well as Flight Safety initial and recurrent training for various aircraft; and, training in CRM, RNP-10, RVSM/MNPS, and TCAS.
As the Corporate Flight Operations Safety Officer of a Fortune 100 corporation, operating both fixed-wing and helicopters, he led the successful Stage I IS-BAO registration for two departments.
